Loutraki is the seaport of Glossa and the second port of Skopelos. It is the first port where ships and flying dolphins from Central Greece (Agios Konstantinos), Volos, and Skiathos dock.

The port of Loutraki is located just below the village of Glossa. The village of Loutraki has regular visitors during the summer season. It has comfortable accommodation for a pleasant stay. At the port, you will find many taverns, cafes, and bars. At the port of Glossa, you will find a pebble beach where you can swim. This picturesque second port of Skopelos is an interesting tourist destination. In the village of Loutraki, there is a mini market and several shops with seasonal items.

Loutraki was the ancient city of Selinounda, founded by the Halkidians in the 8th century BC. Today, you can see the ruins of the city walls that flourished from the 4th to 5th century BC. You can also see the ruins of the Roman Baths along the beach.

The Archaeological Museum of Volos houses many finds. A marble statue of the goddess Athena, found in Loutraki in 1865, has been transferred to the Archaeological Museum of Athens. It is a copy of a work by the ancient sculptor Phidias.

The settlement extends around the port. Even though large ships dock there, it has not lost its charm. Loutraki is part of the settlement of Glossa.

Loutraki is 28.5 km from the port, Skopelos Chora. By car, it will take you about 41 minutes to get there if you follow the road of Agios Riginos.

If you prefer to take the coastal road, the distance from Skopelos Town is 33 km. By car, it will take you about 45 minutes to reach Loutraki of Glossa. Skopelos village of Loutraki.
