Location:

Hovolo Beach on Skopelos is on the west side of the island. It’s in Elios, 18 km from Skopelos Town, after Kastani or Mamma Mia Beach. Chovolo Beach is conveniently located 26 minutes from the heart of Skopelos Chora, making it an accessible retreat for both locals and travelers. From Glossa Village, Hovolo Beach is about 7 km away. By car, it will take you 12 minutes to get there.  

Hovolo Beach is 700 meters from Elios Beach. When you reach Neo Klima-Elios, follow the signs to get to the beach. A scenic drive through the island’s lush landscapes will lead you to this coastal oasis.

Getting There – Parking:

Begin an exploration along the winding roads, delighting your senses with sweeping views and a feeling of eager anticipation. The path to Hovolo Beach is an integral part of the adventure. Hovolo Beach on Skopelos Island begins at the south side of Neo Klima or Elios village. On one side, you’ll see the harbor; on the other, the rugged rocks. Upon arrival, you can conveniently park your car near the sea. There’s a designated parking area at the end of the street. From the settlement’s beach, turn left on foot. Part of the route goes through the sea. On the way to the main beach, discover 2-3 small bays. Sea shoes make walking easier. Good weather enhances Hovolo Beach’s comfort.

• The primary route to Hovolos also poses a slight slip hazard, emphasizing the need for visitors to exercise caution.
• If you proceed by swimming towards the left from its sea-facing side, then you’ll arrive at Ekatopenintari Beach.

• Bring your own beach lounger and sun umbrella.
