Dimitris Drossos, a Greek actor from the island of Skopelos, has made a notable mark in Greek theatre and television. Growing up surrounded by the natural beauty and rich cultural heritage of Skopelos, part of the Sporades islands, he developed a lifelong passion for the arts, music, and performance. This passion guided him toward a professional career as an actor and musician, blending theatrical skill with musical talent.
He graduated from the Drama School of the National Theatre of Greece, one of the country’s leading institutions for theatre education. During his studies, he trained extensively in acting, voice, and movement while cultivating his musical abilities. Drossos plays guitar, has received formal vocal training, and participates in vocal ensembles such as Dreamy Whispers, reflecting his dedication to multidisciplinary artistic expression.

His role as Lenos in John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men, directed by Vasilis Bispikis, received critical acclaim and earned him a nomination for the Manos Katrakis Award for Best Leading Actor in Drama. On television, he became widely recognized for his role as Mehmet Kartal in the historical drama To Kokkino Potami, demonstrating his skill in portraying multi-dimensional characters.
