The church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary or Panagia in Glossa is one of the two parish churches. It is a large three-aisled basilica built several years ago, replacing an older single-aisled church. The entrance is on the west side. The church has three semicircular arches. The side aisles are covered by clapboard roofs. On the walls hang icons from the 18th century. Two of them date back to 1788 and one to 1789. They undoubtedly belonged to the original church.
