A new general medicine doctor’s office will start operating in Skopelos Chora from Monday, October 11, 2021.

The general doctor Dr. Odysseas Verras will open his family doctor’s office in the center of Skopelos Town. Specifically on Doulidou Street next to the supermarket of Provias.

Mr. Odysseas Verras is a general family doctor who can exam people of all ages.

In the family doctor’s office the following services are provided:

Preventive examinations

Receiving, recording, and maintaining a patient history

Electronic prescription and issuance of referrals certificates

Prescribing and vaccination

Acute incident management

Management of chronic diseases (eg hypertension, diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, anemia, etc.)

Stapling and changing wounds

Placement and change of catheters

Otoscopy and ear cleaning

Rapid test for covid-19

Issuance of health certificates (for schools, gyms, etc.)

Certificates for issuance or renewal of driving licenses (contract with the Directorate of Transport and Communications)

Palliative care in end-stage patients
