Travelling to Skopelos from Mantoudi, Evia

Tip 1: Τravelling from Athens to Skopelos via Mantoudi port (Evia) is the cheapest and fastest way to reach the island.

Tip 2: When booking your ferry tickets, check the specific route and arrival port. Skopelos has three ports: Skopelos Town (Chora), Agnontas, and Loutraki Port (Glossa).

  • Afternoon route (14:00): Mantoudi → Skiathos → Glossa → Skopelos → Alonissos → return
  • Additional sailings will run on selected dates
  • The vessel operates daily until mid-September

  • SEAJETS operates 1-2 sailings per week, depending on demand and conditions.

SeaJets Trip Duration and Routes

The fast ride from Mantoudi, Evia, to Skopelos port takes from 1 hour and 15 minutes to 2 hours and 30 minutes.

The most frequent itinerary is Mantoudi – Skiathos – Glossa – Skopelos – Alonissos, and back. Sometimes the vessel also stops at Agnontas Port in Skopelos.

b) MANTOUDI LINES (NEW – LAUNCHED SUMMER 2025)

Mantoudi Lines is a new ferry company launched in July 2025, offering direct daily sailings from Mantoudi (Evia) to Skopelos (Agnontas port) and Alonissos.

Service is operated by the high-speed ferry ZEPHYROS, which carries passengers, vehicles, bicycles, and pets.

Trip duration: Mantoudi to Skopelos (Agnontas) in approximately 1 hour and 5 minutes.

The most frequent itinerary is Mantoudi – Skopelos (Agnontas) – Alonissos – Skopelos (Agnontas) – Mantoudi.

Getting to Mantoudi Port

Mantoudi is about 140 km from Athens. Driving from Athens to Mantoudi takes approximately 2 hours.

Tip: Be careful, as the road approaching the harbour has several turns. If you do not have your own vehicle, you can go by bus (KTEL) from KTEL Liosia or KTEL Evia.

The cost is 14.00 € one way and 26.00 € return.

Mantoudi (also known as Kymasi) is a relatively modern port on the northwest coast of Evia, operating since the mid-2010s. The port is located approximately 4 km from the centre of Mantoudi village, on Kymasi beach.
