Skopelos Buses
A New Era of Public Transport Begins in Skopelos
Skopelos Island is entering a new chapter in its transportation story with the official launch of the Northern Sporades Public Microtransit Service. The new transport brand — Northern Sporades Microtransit — will introduce a fleet of modern, fully-equipped buses designed to meet the demands of both residents and visitors throughout the year. These buses will offer an upgraded level of comfort, accessibility, and safety, aligning with the island’s picturesque and welcoming atmosphere.
At least five state-of-the-art vehicles will be deployed initially, staffed by experienced drivers, ticket collectors, and administrative personnel. The entire operation is supported by a digital infrastructure that includes online schedules and updates through the company’s official website — www.skopelostransports.gr — and its social media channels. Users will have real-time access to route information, service alerts, and other important announcements.
In addition to the online resources, the new transport network will also have a physical presence on the island. A dedicated office will open in Skopelos Town, offering assistance with inquiries and handling administrative matters for locals and travelers alike. Ticket kiosks will be located at key transport hubs: Skopelos Town Port, Agnontas, and Loutraki, while passengers will also be able to purchase tickets directly on board the buses.
Main Route Coverage
The central bus line will provide convenient and consistent service across Skopelos, connecting many of the island’s most important and scenic destinations. The full route includes:
