Skopelos Daily Excursions
The green island of the Northern Sporades is well known for its magnificent combination of green in blue. Skopelos has countless beauties. Green pines are literally rooted in the blue sea. Skopelos became famous through the Hollywood film Mamma Mia. The film producers were dazzled by the natural landscapes and chose Skopelos to be the “kalokeri” (the island of Mamma Mia movie). Kastani Beach, Agios Ioannis Church in Kastri, the pine-covered mountains, etc. If you want to feel the glamor of Hollywood then visit Skopelos.
There are tourist offices that organize day trips (especially during the summer period). Daily excursions are mainly based on the Mamma Mia film and of course on other interesting sights of Skopelos.
