UltraSwim 33.3 Skopelos, part of the Epic Adventure Swim Race Series™, made its Greek debut in 2024 on the breathtaking island of Skopelos in the Sporades – and after its resounding success, it is here to stay. Hosted at the luxurious family-run Adrina Resort & Spa in Panormos, this annual event combines world-class open water swimming in Greece with the unmatched hospitality of the Aegean.

Known worldwide as the filming location of Mamma Mia!, Skopelos Island offers participants a truly cinematic backdrop. Swimmers navigate through the crystal-clear waters of the Aegean Sea, passing secluded coves, dramatic coastlines, and even the iconic cliffside church of Agios Ioannis Kastri, one of the most famous Mamma Mia filming locations in Greece. With sea temperatures ranging between 22–26°C, Skopelos provides the warmest waters of all UltraSwim venues, making it the perfect destination for endurance swimmers.

The racecourse in Skopelos includes swims accessible only by sea, as well as a channel crossing from neighboring Alonissos Island. Each route offers both challenge and beauty, with conditions that vary from sheltered bays to the exposed northern coastline. Optional experiences, like the night swim under the stars, make this one of the most unique sporting events in Greece.
