Skopelos in British TV. ITV – LOOSE WOMEN

Not only Skopelos “went” to Britain and London with Nikos’ tavern, but also a British journalist came to Skopelos to make an interesting reportage, 6 live broadcasts, on Skopelos and Mamma Mia.

The famous British channel ITV, with the popular morning entertainment show “Loose Women” visited Skopelos and made live the beaches and areas where Mamma Mia was filmed. More specifically, they visit Amarantos Beach and Ai Giannis Chapel.

This particular show, which has also been honored with BAFTA and NTA awards, chose to do a tribute to the lush green Skopelos and the musical Mamma Mia.

Even the journalist danced to the unique landscapes while listening to the music of ABBA.

As the chairman of the Tourism Committee of the Municipality of Skopelos, Ioanna Efstathiou said: “Taking advantage of the unique characteristics of Skopelos, we choose original actions of international promotion that keep alive the connection with the popular musical. This year in particular, travel flows from Britain are showing great momentum, having started in April and are expected to continue until October.”
