Ethos – Takis Moschos

A Cultural Gem in Skopelos

ETHOS Takis Moschos offers theater workshops and live performances in Skopelos, inspiring creativity and artistic expression for all ages

‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌

ETHOS Takis Moschos is a cornerstone of Skopelos’ vibrant cultural scene. Founded by the renowned actor Takis Moschos, who settled on the island in 2001, the group has become a hub for local theater and artistic expression. ETHOS Takis Moschos is dedicated to bringing the magic of theater to the community, fostering creativity, and preserving the island’s cultural traditions.

The group operates entirely through volunteer participation and welcomes individuals of all ages. It offers theater workshops, educational programs, and live performances for children, teens, and adults. These activities make theater in Skopelos accessible to everyone and encourage residents and visitors alike to engage with the performing arts. By participating, locals develop skills, creativity, and a stronger connection to their community.

Performances are held at the historic Orfeas Cinema, a beautifully restored venue that now serves as a cultural landmark in Skopelos. ETHOS Takis Moschos has staged a variety of plays, including acclaimed productions like Dance with Me, Father, and Knock Knock, and continually adds new works to its repertoire. Each production highlights the talent and dedication of the island’s performers while celebrating Greek culture and storytelling.
