COVID-19 NEW RULES OF TRAVELING
The global pandemic (COVID-19) has imposed new conditions on passengers during travel.
Travelers who wish to visit the Northern Sporades (Skiathos, Skopelos, Alonissos) this year should follow the below instructions, according to Government Gazette 1454/Β/25-03-2022:
- Passengers are obligated to USE a protective mask in all indoor areas. It is recommended the usage of a double mask or a mask type FFP2 or N95, in all indoor common passenger areas.
Have:
- a valid identity document
- a valid vaccination certificate
- a European Union vaccination certificate (digital COVID certificate) as well as third countries.
- a valid disease certificate
If there is no vaccination or disease certificate, the alternatives are:
- PCR Test with a negative result performed within the last 72 hours of the scheduled travel time,
- Rapid Test with a negative result carried out within the last 24 hours before the departure,
ONLY children from 4-17 years old can travel with a 24-hour self-test declared on the gov.gr website.
Passengers can have the above documents either electronically or in hard copy.
Passengers should arrive in time at the port of departure. This means one hour before the scheduled departure in order to facilitate the pre-boarding check procedure.
