The Microbiological Laboratory of Dr. Lina Lemoni actively participates in the National Program for the Prevention and Management of Cardiovascular Risk, demonstrating consistent scientific integrity and responsibility. Our contribution aligns with a broader effort to promote a healthier population.

This initiative is the first comprehensive national strategy in Greece that focuses specifically on preventing chronic illnesses through early detection of cardiovascular risk factors. The program [https://cardio.gov.gr/] is available to a large portion of the population and includes free preventive lab tests, such as:

• Total Cholesterol (TCHOL)
• Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL-C)
• High-Density Lipoprotein (HDL-C)
• Triglycerides (Tgs)
• Blood Glucose (CL)
• Complete Blood Count
• Lipoprotein (a) [LP(a)] Assessment

Participants are also entitled to a free medical consultation provided by their chosen physician (Cardiologist, General Practitioner, or Internist). If abnormal results are detected, a thorough cardiovascular assessment is carried out to rule out or confirm coronary artery disease. Additional diagnostic tools such as stress echocardiography (with or without contrast) and myocardial scintigraphy may be used where necessary.

The microbiologist laboratory stays open from Monday to Friday 7.30-14.00.
The results can also be written both in English and Greek.
For the months July and August in case of need a sample test on Saturday you should contact first.
It is highly recommended to have your passport number / ID number with you to register online.
