Mercurius Bar first opened in July 1997 on Skopelos Island. Since then, every summer is one of the most popular hangouts on the Island. The main characteristics of Mercurius Bar are the excellent music that transports you across the globe and the quality cocktails that excite you. Moreover, the bar’s location is an advantage. Since on the Mercurius terrace, visitors overlook the old port.

At Mercurius Bar, a wide variety of drinks and cocktails, as well as wine labels, will bring you along. You will also get excited by the enchanting space and the alternative point of view that this bar offers. The chillout, lounge music choices from the world music scene are another main reason why Mercurius Bar has its own fanatic audience.

Furthermore, in 2011, the owner created the Art Gallery. His goal was to promote the artwork of Greek and foreign artists who live, work, and get their inspiration from the beauty and the uniqueness of Skopelos island. So it became the Mercurius Bar Gallery that hosts various interesting cultural events from painting to sculpture, as well as music concerts.

Mercurius Bar Gallery opens every year during Easter time and closes at the end of September. It operates from 19:00 until late at night. Mercurius Bar Gallery is located in one of the most central spots of Skopelos town. Additionally, Merkourios Bar Gallery, in Skopelos Town, is housed in an 18th-century mansion.
