Located in the center of the North Aegean Pelagos, in the Northern Sporades, Skopelos is easy to get to from various points, by air and by sea, year-round.
Skopelos by ferry and speedboat. Useful info traveling Skopelos. Skopelos is easy to reach from Athens from Evia Mantoudi by boat, especially in summer when ferry companies add to their scheduled journeys.
Visitors from Northern Greece can use the port of Thessaloniki. For the ones that are coming from Central Greece, Volos is the most comfortable port to access Skopelos.

Skopelos has three ports: Skopelos Port ( Skopelos Town), Glossa Port ( Loutraki), and Agnontas Port. In your searches request all Skopelos Ports. There are days that vessels approach only one of Skopelos’ ports.

TIP 1: This lush island has a full season in July and August. So booking your ticket and making your reservations on time is a good idea.
TIP 2: You should know that the itineraries are scheduled as follows:
- during the Easter period up to the Holy Spirit, the routes are finalized just before Easter,
- in the Summer season, from May to August, itineraries are finalized shortly after Easter,
- In September the routes are finalized in July.
