GLIFONERI BEACH – AGIOS KONSTANTINOS BEACH
SKOPELOS BEACHES
Turquoise waters, blue everywhere, sand, white pebbles, and pines coming out of the sea and spreading to the shore. In order to reach that magical landscape, you only have to drive about 8 minutes away from Skopelos Chora. The beautiful Agios Konstantinos beach (or else Glyfoneri beach) is on the north side of the island, near Skopelos Town.
In a distance of about 2,6 kilometers, you will find your personal heaven. The name of it is Agios Konstantinos or Glyfoneri beach. The name of the beach derives from the church of Agios Konstantinos, which is located on the hill just above Glifoneri beach.
Agios Konstantinos beach (or else Glyfoneri beach) is an ideal place for relaxation and tranquility. It used to be an organized beach but not anymore. However, there are some sunbeds and umbrellas. There is also an excellent taverna, “Glyfoneri Taverna“.
Agios Konstantinos beach (or else Glyfoneri beach) is a very popular beach for the locals because it has very easy access. The road is just fine and you only need 8 minutes. Due to the limited parking space, it is better to go early.
When there are north winds it is better to avoid Agios Konstantinos beach because usually there are waves.
Glifoneri beach Skopelos is very beautiful and quiet. This spot early in the morning offers a magnificent sunrise. Maybe that’s the reason in June 2019 Monachus Monachus seal chose to enjoy a bath there and surprise everybody.
