Traditional but modernized stone house on the beautiful island of Skopelos, famous from the movie Mama Mia. A lovely large terrace and balcony with stunning sea and sunset views of Evia-Skiathos-Pilio are among the best views on the island.

The house is located in Palio Klima, at the quietest northern end of the island. Paleo Klima is known for its tranquility and mild climate but is close to the terraced village of Glossa with a maze of picturesque streets hiding a good variety of local cafes, tavernas (including the island’s best restaurant, Agnanti), and basic shops such as a small supermarket and extremely important bakery.

Down the hill is the port of Loutraki with more tavernas and agencies for ferry services to Skiathos, Alonissos, and Volos. There is also a lovely walking path directly from the house leading through the cool forest to small coves in Loutraki.

The 104 sqm house itself has a charming living room with a stone exposed wall and a traditional Greek rustic fireplace. Separate dining room and fully equipped kitchen. There is also a twin bedroom on the ground floor and a master bedroom with a vaulted ceiling and a breakfast balcony on the first floor.

This room has air conditioning for a restful night’s sleep. The shower room on the ground floor is large and fully equipped. The living room has a double sofa bed for extra guests.
There is plenty of space on the veranda which is covered in vines and has a lovely children’s pool an excellent spot for sunbathing before heading out in the evening.

There are also 7 beaches within 9 km – all with different aspects and the famous “Mama Mia” church is 15 minutes away. Skopelos town can be reached in 30 minutes by car or by local bus which stops nearby.

The nearest airport to Skopelos is in Skiathos.
