Pethamenis Beach or Kanalaki in Skopelos is a beautiful beach with a special history. The particular beach – which is one of the most isolated – is located between the beaches of Hondrogiorgi and Perivoliou. Just before the Perivoliou beach, there is a sign that says to Perivoliou and Chondrogiorgi. You need to turn towards Hondroyorgi Beach. Before you reach the beach on the left there is a dirt road. You will park and follow a short path before you reach this magnificent beach. (But in the end, you need special attention. You will walk on rocks.
The path is narrow and overgrown. The trail is special but you cannot walk down it with summer shoes or flip-flops. This is a beach for adventure lovers. However, once you reach this sandy beach with its small coves and crystal-clear waters, you will be compensated for your efforts.
It is advisable to avoid this beach when the winds are from the north on the island. Pethamenis Beach Kanalaki is one of the most beautiful beaches on Skopelos island.
