TIP 1: Symi Boat of the Anes ferries operates seasonally only during the summer. In wintertime, there are no scheduled itineraries.

Trip Duration. The ferry boat from Glyfa (Fthiotida) to Skopelos ( Loutraki Port, Glossa) takes approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes.

From Glifa port, the ferry first takes the stop to Skiathos then stops at Loutraki Port ( Glossa) on Skopelos island.

Glifa is about 264 km away from Athens. To arrive from Athens to Glifa in your own vehicle, you will need about 3 hours 00 minutes. You will also find tolls on the route. The cost of tolls amounts to € 17,85 under current conditions. This cost may change.
Buses from Athens to Glifa
In case you do not have your own vehicle, Anes ferries company has buses for your transfer from Athens to Agios Glifa and vice versa.
There are Daily Departures from ANES OFFICES in Metaxourgio,21st Theodorou Diligianni street, Metro station – Metaxourgio (just opposite the Traffic Police Headquarters).
Tip: There are always bus stations in your area as well as private taxi companies.
